 TVB Beat: In its latest edition, a local magazine has reported that Connie Chiu Nga-Chi is having an affair with co-star Damien Lau Chung-Yun and, because of that, Chiu's marriage to Melvin Wong Kam-Sun was in trouble. The report was based on various sightings of Chiu and Lau riding in the same car. Yesterday, at the opening lens ceremony of the new TVB series SAI KWAN DAI SIU (lit. SAI KWAN BIG AND SMALL), Melvin Wong showed up to help Chiu and Lau dispel the rumours (from left to right in left image). Explaining that she and Lau are simply carpooling to work, Chiu said: "He lives on Waterloo Road and I live in Shatin so we decided to car pool to work. Our assistants are in the car with us at all times. Besides, my husband was the one who helped me into the car!"
