Back from working in Thailand, Damian Lau Chung-Yun joined AWAKENING STORY co-stars Liza Wang Ming-Chuen (centre), Tavia Yeung Yi and Choi Ji-Kin at a promotional event for the series yesterday. After a slow start, AWAKENING STORY is performing better in the ratings. Last week, the series had an average rating of 31 ratings points -- up six points from the 26 ratings points score the week previous. Commenting on the series, Wang remarked: "The thing that makes me the most happy is that we're getting good word of mouth. As for the ratings, I think the results are respectable. Of course, I hope that the ratings will continue to improve as the series concludes!"
Liza Wang Ming-Chuen's newest drama AWAKENING STORY debuted the night before last on TVB. To celebrate the event, Wang invited her castmates to her home for a party to watch the premiere together. The party started at seven in the evening and did not break up until one in the morning. While co-stars Joe Ma Tak-Chung, Maggie Cheung Ho-Yi, Helena Law Lan and Tavia Yeung Yi (left to right in left image with Wang in the middle) were in attendance, Damian Lau Chung-Yun was not. Explaining his absence, Wang said: "Chung-Jai (Lau) is not in Hong Kong. That's why he isn't here. Anyway, everyone is having a lot of fun here tonight. I think that we may have another party here when the concluding episode airs!"
